2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
It is nice to have something to fall back on when we feel like we have come to the end of our rope, be it God, religion, faith, friends, family, job, whatever it is, have a safety harness, it can even be the site, just never let there be a time where the fear sinks in and you think, NO ONE HAS MY BACK!
Hugs-

@CKarma Yeah I completely agree. I was obviously raised in the church although some of my thoughts on God and religion are a little different from my parents. I think by nature, humans want hope they want a reason to exist. And I agree I think there are many ways people find it. Yes this site has done so good for me even though I’m relatively new. I know this is a safe place to put out my feelings and thoughts without being judged and also an outlet to help others. I think one of the best way to your own wellness and recovery is helping others in similar situation. It gives us a purpose and in the end, I don’t care what kind of illness or problem we all desire to be mattered.
