Well not a record for me but a start. Haven't went to casinos to sign up to block myself yet. I fear that if I go I won't be able to do it and will gamble so kinda just waiting. Maybe I'll see if my husband will go with me he doesn't like to gamble so that would probably work well. Hope everyone is doing well and stay strong and keep strong in everything you face and do.

Hi Tattletale, congratulations on this wonderfully positive step in the right direction and for being so strong. You are right to stay away from the casinos on your own. May I ask what the process is to block yourself and is this something that will preclude you from gambling all together? I am a huge advocate of steering clear of temptation, most especially in the early stages of recovery. See if this step is really worth it at this time.
