7am and she has a glass of booze! Massive alarm bells for me especially when last year I said it wasn't acceptable. Add to that the fact she's on morphine patches for over 11 months now..... and currently trying to find her a doctor in her country (USA) but I'm a stranger here. I'm wondering if I haven't gotten into an even bigger mistake with my life.... :-(

Have you tried reaching out to local support groups? Whether it is a mistake or not, you can always continue to move on. Take some time to evaluate and discuss the situation.
