After seeing my doctor twice, I had big confidence that I would be able to get rid of this ringing...NOPE. Got rid of fluid behind my left eardrum, used wax removal (there was no wax), had a CT scan which showed nothing. Tried other techniques, herbs, etc. Now I'm scheduled for a hearing test. I've read that 90% of people with my type of tinnitus sounds have hearing lose. One can only hope. Honestly, I'd rather be stone deaf than have this noise in my ear all of the time.

I am so sorry, stuff like this suck. I am in limbo with my health as well. I have hoshimotos and my thyroid is dying, but until it does I can't do anything because I have nodules and medication would make them grow and that isn't good. So I wait as my thyroid, which controls a lot, does it thing, or doesn't.

@CKBlossom Oh, I’m sorry to hear this. My daughter has Graves. I admit I don’t know much about either one, but they are difficult to live with. Eventually, they might have to put you on medicine you can tolerate. Good luck to you with it. It is possible to live a normal life with tinnitus.

No, I haven't seen it. Thank you. Will check it out.
