Ijust finished my last chemo May 24th and will have a scan next week. Just wanted to know if Hodgkins Lymphoma is cronic or if I have a clear scan mean it is cured?
Hello, hope this could help you.
All depends on witch type and at stage/phase. For example my case a Stage II HL, nodular sclerosis type. And 1 year ago was my first CT-PET Scan after treatment, and this week was my 2nd (dont know results yet), and my doctor told me i have at lest been in Remission for 5 year to be consider as Cure.
PS: Sorry for my english, im not a native english speaker.
I finish my last treatment 2 years ago for Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma in May. I exercise regularly and always have but now I started having hip pain in my right hip. First it was when I ran, now its just everyday. Is this normal or should I notify my oncologist? In Feb I had pain in my ribs but all my scans came back clear. Just wondering if this is normal from chemo or what?
Did you just have a scan in February? If so, it's highly unlikely that Hodgkin's is causing your pain. However, if it will give you peace of mind, go ahead and contact your oncologist.
