All we can do is try! Even though your illness “may” (nothing is definite) arise when you try you still made a effort and have something to learn from, and in that alone you have succeeded. And when we succeed we have something to be grateful for even though it may not be the result we wanted. Any result is better then no result.
this is very wise!
First of all, you are right...nothing is definite. With every "try" we learn what we can and cannot do. It is a continuous learning for me, as things can change at any time. I feel the best about myself when I accomplish something. This can be emailing my mom and/or my sister. It includes "getting a shower", working on crafts or cooking a meal. Sometimes I really have to push to even do any of those things. But it feels good. I am new but have been reading some of your posts. It sounds like you are beginning to accept your reality...and finding ways to live with it. It really is amazing what you can accomplish when you accept what you can't do. I agree with @norseduncan you are being very wise.
@ElaineKay thank you, yes I have accepted it in great deal, and I also have days and parts of the day even on good days when I can hardly do the things you mentioned.
