Anxious. I've been without a job now for over a year. I've always had a very successful career. This experience has put tremendous stress on me, my marriage and family.

As I put on the weight over the months I'm now finding my wife avoids me. I don't blame her. Married for 31 years now.

@StressEaterII I am so sorry you are going through this difficult experience. Talk to your wife. Tell her what is going on with you. TTell her how you feel. Ask her how she feels. Just try to keep some connection with her. Best wishes.

Thanks. We talk about things a lot so there's no problem there. She's dealing with having gone back to work and yet not being able to make much money. We have retirement savings but I'm not old enough yet as you need to be 59 1/2 to take distributions from your IRA. Thanks for your best wishes.
