Barely leave the house. When I do it's constant anxiety and worry. Hasn't been like this always. Really affects me.
I am in the same boat.
I have major depresion and sometimes don't leave the house for a week at a time . Tight cheast and worry people will see how sad I am
I'm in the exact situation and trying my best to get out of it. Sometimes the anxiety and imagery we build up in our heads is greater than the actual encounter. It's going to be okay. Don't rush anything. If you're uncomfortable, that's okay. This all temporary and your emotions are justified. Please know you're not alone <3 We can get through this together :)
One of the most helpful things you can do to overcome social anxiety disorder is to face the social situations you fear. Try to identify the things you do in social situations to feel safer (make a list). Try to reduce engaging in some of these behaviours when facing feared situations. People with social anxiety tend to focus on themselves during social situations, which tends to make them feel even more anxious.
