Being an unemployed single Mom, all I can do is LIVE each day and do my best as any parent should do for their child. I'm not aiming to be perfect, I'm just aiming to do my best in order for my child to have a balanced life; to feel loved by me and his family and friends around him, make sure he has an active social life, make sure he is educated, and to play an active role in the church and to teach him about what faith , confidence and spiritual is.

I read a book advocating that parents should strive to be "good enough parents" rather than the "super parent" as good enough had more balance in it. Tough concept to grasp at first, but it made so much sense!

I think we all worry about our children. Far more than the physical things we get our children is the bond we form within our families. And from that bond comes the strength and knowledge we are loved and worthwhile human beings.
