better than most days, I've found out by writing down my feelings, and fears it helps me to cope with this , as I call it the invisible disease. Diagnosed in June of 2014
Hey there, welcome! This is a great place to give and get support. I am glad that you have found some tools to help you process things. When you feel comfortable we would love to hear more about yoU!
@Aura82 thanks a lot for reaching out to me I appreciate you taking the time to welcome me. It’s been rough, hit me worse than I expected, was in denial, depressed, and angry. All the counseling I’ve given others, I now wasn’t able to help myself. Never heard of this disease until I was diagnosed. 20 twenty years in home care, Methodist lay servant, and degree in Human service. I need to work through this to regain my grip on life as it has changed for me. Any advice sure could use it
Learning about this disease will help you. Dr Noah Greespan is one of the great teachers. Just type in his name/UTube. Sit back and listen to the many lectures about this disease. If you can attend a Pulmonary Rehab, or go to Better Breathers, another wonderful informative class that is put on by the American Lung Association. You can also google this to find out if there is one in your area where you live. Staying active is the biggest key. Exercises both physical as well as breathing exercises are the most important tools to better breathing as well as learning the foods best for us so diet is another big factor. I do hope you will begin to feel better about yourself with this disease.
@keyboardbj Thanks a lot will take your advice and lookup the doctor, also will look into a rehab program to help me
