Can you help

hey, ok so bulimia is being a pain but i am also beggining to not eat foods such as meat and potatos. i am managing things like veg, fruit, smoothies and soup but struggling with others

does anyone have an explination for this

Eve, I think that you have to ease back into these foods and it will take a while for it to feel comfortable and natural. Take it in small steps and try not to overwhelm yourself with eating too much of those foods too soon. Though, try adding protein to your diet, as that's what's missing.

hey. thanks. was having a good day. missed breakie as usual but ate my lunch and temptation was there but i refused. . . . . then i ate dinner which had meat, potatos and veg, was doing well then i failed :(

Eve, I am so happy to hear that you made it through lunch, though what caused you to purge following dinner? Was there something that triggered that, if so, let's figure out a way to work past that.

eh, i dont know really just felt like i shouldnt have all that food in my stomach.

i never had anything to eat till about 5.30 today and ate almoest everything plus i had fruit and yogurt, never purged. wish i had though i sm getting horrible cramps atm :( have i done to myself

Eve, I am so proud of you for not purging today, that's such a huge step in the right direction. Also, not eating until 5:30 is really bad for you, can you try to at least start implementing breakfast and lunch everyday slowly but surely, this way you wont binge at night. Eating smaller meals more frequently is a great way to go, it's what I do and it feels great.

i only manage coffee in the morning. sometimes a piece of toast. then funch its nothing or a wee sandwich and crisps.

I never used to be a breakfast person, but I realized that it was really the most important meal as it fueled my body for the day to come. I eat a mix of oatmeal, cottage cheese, fruit, and healthy smoothies. Though next a smoothie on its own, I'll always have it with oatmeal or cottage cheese. As well, I'll sometimes have eggs with veggies.

If you can slowly but surely implement a healthy breakfast, then you will really feel different for the day to come. You'll have more energy on the whole.

I understand that Eve, but it's all about taking small steps to start learning to love food and know how it nourishes our bodies and keeps us healthy. We have to fuel our engines, so to speak/write, in order to run efficiently.
