CAN'T STOP SOBBING!
Can you listen to music you like or watch something to bring your spirits up. We will all have those difficult days. I wish there was an advice page for getting through those difficult days, but I have a feeling we just have to go through them.
What's the matter?
@Rewindit Been job searching now for almost 3 years and I have a 2 year old to take care of. No paternal help is being offered. His dad is deceased and his paternal immediate family don’t call because they don’t care.
Are you in the states? I could try to help you look for one. I was without work for a while then I just buckled down and got determined. I sent out at least 20 resumed a day and went to every interview. I could help you by revising your resume or finding places to look for jobs. What are your qualifications and interest?
@Rewindit No I’m not in the ‘land of the free’.
Thing is, I’m very good at putting resumes together. I think its what grabs the manager/owner’s attention and for the most part, gets my ‘foot in the door’.
But I love your drive. 20 resumes a day means that there were a lot of job openings that related to your career field. Yes! That’s a lot of determination.
I wouldn’t find that many job openings in my field in the newspaper every day or even online; this town is small.
But I have slowed down a bit and I really do need to send out more applications/resumes. Thank you for sharing your experience and offering help.
