Holistic Wellness: Chronic Illnesses & Mental Health
There are many resources out there that support the link between mental health & physical health.
If you suffer from moderate-severe anxiety and/or depression, I’m sure you have noticed an increase in fatigue, body pains, nausea/vomiting, excessive eating and/or loss of appetite, blurred vision, etc.
Utilizing Holistic every day methods can be vital in combatting mental health issues.
Such as:
• Nature Walk
• Take a Shower
• Eat Fruit instead of processed sugary foods when feeling anxious.
• Drink water versus sugary drinks
• Meditation with Meditation music
• Home Self Care Day (I.e manicure, pedicure, facial, etc)
• Learn a new recipe & cook it for fun
• Read a new book
• Yoga
• Start an Affirmation Journal
Just one small step is all it takes to get your mind and body in a NEW and improved routine. Now it won’t be easy but I promise from personal experience, it’ll be worth it!

Funny you should post this today , Having a hard time lately and I have most of those symptoms and more. want to be me again.
So sorry you are experiencing those symptoms today, it can be a tough to over come and the simplest tasks like just getting out of bed seem like a legit challenge you just are not ready to overcome.
A trick I like to use is that when you feel yourself just existing in the day to day…
Make (1) simple goal for the day and take small steps to complete it. Try it out with something like I will take a long 10-15 minute shower today while listening to your favorite playlists (make sure its all upbeat songs) or you can listen to meditation music (available on youtube) while you take your shower.
Then challenge yourself again the next day with another (1) simple task to complete like (I will go for a walk in the park for 10 minutes)
I promise you, this small and simple task will put a little spark into your body and brain that promotes a positive outlook on life again. Now I wish it could just solve all the problems over night but life is a marathon not a sprint and I find comfort in knowing that we are not supposed to be perfect but just imperfect beings trying to create a positive experience for ourselves and others.
Keeping you in my thoughts love!
