What does anyone knnow about DBT? I am starting with a new counselor who uses this method. I don't like what I have heard so far -- I don't see how it can be helpful for me, and I disagree some with the philosphical basis of it. But I am also at a point where I have had to stop listening to the internal reasonings, and I have decided instead to just do as the therapists tell me as well as I can.
Nonetheless, this all seems pointless to me. Can anyone help with good news about this therapy? Or help me understand it better?
