Decided to go into the store today and buy a slab of chocola

Decided to go into the store today and buy a slab of chocolate, I convinced myself that I would eat it slowly thought the day, maybe even keep some for tomorrow.. but who was i fooling, by the time I got home it was finished. I am so tired of being controlled by food.

Hi! There shouldn't be any "forbidden" foods in our recovery program, however, I don't like to bring trigger foods home as the same thing that you experienced would also be my experience. Planning to eat chocolate once or twice weekly seems ok as long as it doesn't occur when you have a craving or urge. Plan to eat the chocolate as a planned snack but not on impulse and decide to eat that piece of chocolate away from home so you don't have to deal with having a "stash" at home, always calling your name.
