Do you ever have the need to thrust your own reflection into your hands?

I'm not sure I follow. "Thrusting" implies away from yourself. "Into your hands" implies towards yourself. I'm a bit directionally confused. Am I wanting to get rid of my reflection? Or take charge of it? More explanation please!

@Raine14 by thrust I mean stab, and that implies that the question means to break the mirror with your hands when you see yourself in it.
