Did you get therapy after the rape, would your therapist or doctor be willing to write a letter in support of your appeal?

I failed my fall semester of sophomore year after I had been raped that spring by a guy who lived on my dorm floor who I'd never talked to. Horrible. When I tried to come back I was completely betrayed by my school. They saw ME as a liability, not my rapist, and they make you jump through so many hoops. It's humiliating

@wmm26 So sorry this happened to you. These kinds of problems need to be handled by an entity separate from the colleges that try to hide things to protect their reputation. (Penn State scandal) It is just horrendous that any young woman would have to deal with this, especially in an educational setting. I’m so sorry… hugs.
You need to at least tell someone . There are confidentiality laws so if you tell a doctor or therapist, they're not allowed to tell anyone without your consent. There may be a whole group of women this guy raped. If you tell someone they may be able to bring charges. This is a problem being brought to light by a movie being shown at colleges about college rapes. You need emotional support. HUGS.
