I lost 40 pounds and kept it off till june now im up 15pounds and feel defeated am trying to start up again but feel lost i need motivation:(
Wow, 40 pounds is huge! I don't think I'd have the stamina to get the weight off. I know what it's like to loose motivation and I can say It's a temporary feeling. Is there an action you can take, like fast walking? I've seen quick results (especially in my stomach) from doing this, also lifting hand weights at home.
My suggestion is to decide to stay on your diet TODAY. Just get through today, until your feelings change. And nothing changes feelings quicker than taking an action.

Wow! 40 lbs is awesome! Well, I have some good info for you. If you've gained 15 lbs after losing 40, chances are you went from eating healthy and watching calories, to letting those naughty foods creep back into your diet. So what you've gained may be some fat pounds but is also going to be water retention (from the salt and sugar you re-introduced into your life). So once you start eating right again, you should drop more pounds than usual during the first 2 weeks alone. Bottom line... You're closer than you think. You can do this and I will help you. Your body will be needing to flush the salt and other toxins from your body, so to aid this process, make sure you drink a lot of water. 64-70 ounces per day, minimum.

Just make the weekends a major goal of yours. Like any goal, you'll get closer and closer each time... Until you reach it. 1 -1.5 lbs per week is healthy and you more likely to keep it off.
