I'm sorry you are feeling like this. Do you have any friends or family with whom you can get out and do some things you enjoy?
No... I have friends and family yes but none I can turn to right now
Goodnight... Maybe a shower n some sleep might help a little
I don't mean to sound like it's so easy. But I myself have tried this, after reading about it on some emotional health page on the internet: the more oxygen you get pumping into your lungs, like from walks outside, jogs, outdoor activities - the more "happy endorphins" are released from your brain. At the risk of sounding cheesy...sorry. ANyway, I tried this a few times and I have to ADMIT THAT IT WORKED FOR ME. If I don't feel up to it, and I feel down, I EMBRACE that down feeling instead of using it as a reason to stay indoors and sit with my depression. I embrace it and tell myself, "ok and then? I'm feeling low? Ok, so get your shoes on. GO. Move. Just move and the rest will fall into place." And you know, it really does fall into place.
I second MS2014 about walking. I live in a not-very-nice neighborhood. But I've found a well-lit sidewalk that I can walk on, and it goes to a very nice, quiet cemetery. I walk for 40-60 minutes, and talk on the phone with a friend or family member if I can. If no one is available to talk, I listen to music. The time flies by, I end up feeling more calm, and it's great for my health.
@InMyDreams Bravo! I too listen to music ALOT when I walk or if I have to be indoors on the treadmill. But I MAKE SURE THAT THE MUSIC IS POSITIVE. I tend to be one that likes melancholy music a lot…but when I need a lift, when I need to get OUT OF MY negativity, and feel suffocated, I make myself listen to upbeat positive songs…even music videos…HELPS ALOT
