I finally took a ME day. After numerous recommendations to do so here, I finally did it. Phone was on silent most of the day; I'd check in here and there to make sure there weren't any important calls missed. Did whatever I wanted and when I wanted. I honestly can't remember the last time I did this....I'm making this a habit.
Started off with a leisurely walk, got my latte, walked around more, all while my ipod was playing my favorite tunes. Walking around when you're not in a rush to make a deadline, meet someone, be somewhere...is amazing in and of itself. Then, I came home, laid around, read...I just went with what felt good.
