I'm checking this out because I need to hear from others who understand what it's like to have bipolar. I've done individual therapy, groups and medication for over 6 years and have been fairly stable. For me depression phases are the hardest to combat. I have a human service job which requires alot of time and energy taking care of the needs of others. People would describe me as funny, outgoing, energetic and caring, but most days I feel phoney and exhausted. Does anyone else ever experience this? If I acted the way I really feel, I probably wouldn't have a job.
