Its a technique I use to freshen up my attitude. Sometimes it only holds for awhile, but hey do what ya gotta do...
I try, however difficult, to find a moment in time where I feel no pain, maybe the sun is on my face, maybe the music is just right, maybe its a cool breeze.
I try to relish that moment. I can use it to gain back precious ground I have lost to the black dog of chronic pain.
Tonite it was sitting by my firepit with my dog. I found a position in the chair where it all went away, only for a moment, but I loved that moment. Perfect.
