Going to the supermarket

I am a health junkie. Fresh vegetables and fruits line my dinner table every night. I eat a haas avocado at least once a day for healthy fats and potassium. I am a few months away from taking my NPTAE (national physical therapy assistant exam). But that **** supermarket with all it's goodness also carries an evil which makes me cringe when I think of it's god awful power. No, it's not the trans-fats or rascals, it's that cooler section.

I am now 3 days sober.

without my humor I would crumble.

I can not imagine being my best me and helping people to recover their kinesthetic abilities while I drink my families love away.

I am doing better. day 3.

thank you all for reading this

hi jonasjames keep up the good work you started a new path in your life that's great. I am on day 10 and the first few days where the hardest on me I am doing much better now. Glad you here. keep us posted don't give up in the first few days it's easy to relapse.

Thank you. Just being able to write what ails me is cathartic enough. I haven't been truly tested yet but I am focusing on today and on all the positivity my life has and the happiness this change will bring about.

again, thanks

hi jonasjames how you doing today? hope you doing well.keep strong and keep us posted

Hi JonasJames:

It's been some time, but I'm still thinking of you. I hope things are going well for you. Just because we have relapses that's no reason to not continue for support. It's a one day at a time thing. I've learned tomorrow has enough worries of its own. If you have a Higher Being, it doesn't hurt to ask for strength and to lean on him or her for understanding.

You're in my prayers. I've ask my ABBA FATHER to help you to oversome this alcohol addition. And I believe He will because He said whatsoever you ask in Jeus' Name and believe it, it will be done. Amen

Awesome Jonas! I am on day 5. Its funny about all you said, I just got back from the grocery store. OJ, bananas, Greek yogurt, and some almonds. But guess what was in the aisle across from the almonds? Very nice post :) Its a total cliche but, you just gotta take it one day at a time.
