Good afternoon everyone. I am new to the group and was diagnosed with Lupus Discoid almost 2yrs ago. I have the butterfly rash across my face and it used to bother me but I am used to it and the questions I get. It is good to know there are others who go through the same issues that I face. People don't understand the fatigue and pain you face everyday. And to top it off my dad has Dementia and I am his caregiver and he requires constant care. I have no family close to help so it just my husband and myself. He supports me and tries to make sure I get rest. Thank you for letting me share.

You have a lot going on. I hope you get time for rest. Some places may offer respite care. Maybe a local nonprofit could help out.
