Have a very emotionally and verbally abusive mother. She recently tried to assault me during an argument and is now giving ME the silent treatment and still giving out punishments/doing things to make my life more difficult. I am 29 and staying with my parents until I close on my house on the 30th. How do I manage this anxiety until then?

@SunnyTomorrow What I mean about continuing to give punishments is that last night she told me she will no longer take care of my dog while I’m gone. So I can’t leave for long periods of time bc she just locks my dog in a small room the whole time I’m gone.

Try listening to some music that you love! :) I have a very abusive mother as well and that helps to take my mind off it.
