Today started out ok, i tried not to worry about anything thats going on, but it has caught up with me once again. I am constantly thinking about all of our bills we cannot afford, the fact that i cant find work, and dont have money to go back to college yet. how i dont fit into my husbands family. how i wish that i could go back a few years and change some of the mistakes i made. i love my husband and hes the best thing in my life but i dont know how much longer i can handle all this weight im carrying around on my shoulders. i cry all the time and have no energy. ahhhhh i hope tomorrow is a better day.
Hi amm85, I can relate to trying not to worry. I take it you are not working right now. Besides job hunting, what are you doing with your free time? Think about things that you can do now that you have some free time on your hands.
I did a search for things to do when you are unemployed and came up with a few links:

While we can't change the past, we can start today with making change and going forward. Start working on the new you that you wish to become. Make a list of things you would like to do that you can afford to do and do them. There are things that you can do with your free time that don't cost any money. Begin doing this today. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. We are here for you. ((((hugs))))
I have to agree with bluidkiti.
All we have is what's in front of us. The past is but a learning tool to which we can revert to for guidance on decisions and actions.
Remember, the First step of A.A. state that "We admitted that we WERE powerless over alcohol..." "Were" indicated that we now have a choice other than picking up that first drink or drug! That alone is a reason to rejoice each and every day :-)
"We don't regret the past, nor do we wish to shut the door on it"
The only thing I can suggest is to go to meetings, find a sponsor, and work the steps. If you do that the promises of A.A. will fulfilled in your life -- guaranteed.
