Hello friends, I have a question. Does anyone else experience paranoia? I can barely find any articles online about it. But for me, I'm paranoid about texting friends for examples. Texting and messaging friends make me paranoid I'm going to say something wrong and they'll never want to talk to me again. Usually it's caused by how baseline I feel in general and stress can make it much worse, causing other paranoias such as misreading neutral voice tones or innocent body language as hostile.

I dont think this is paranoid. I think it would be closer to histrionic Personality Disorder. Read this: http://psychcentral.com/disorders/histrionic-personality-disorder-symptoms/
It seems like the emotional part and being the center of everyone world is dead on. Either way. I think we would all be better people if we can accept that everyone does not sit around thinking about us all the time.

@thelostwonderingwanderer I can relate to the feeling, but I don't call it paranoia - those worries make me anxious because I too am fearful of saying the wrong things, I'm afraid of something being misinterpreted, I'm scared of messing up somehow.... depending on the stressors I'm experiencing, sometimes I can ruminate for hours. I know that as difficult as it is for me, I go out of my comfort zone and keep doing it. Posting here, for example, is good practice - I consider it good practice for me. I always hope I never insult anybody, but if it ever happens, then that moment will also be a good practice moment. The more I do it, the better it gets....hope this helps wonderer *hugs*
