hello... i quit smoking 7 days ago, kinda struggling to focus which has lead me to fall behind in work... any ideas on concentration techniques?

Hi. I just googled "cigarette withdrawal." They say the withdrawal symptoms such as inability to concentrate will probably last 2 or 3 weeks. In the meantime, they advise that to cope with difficulty concentrating, "Take frequent breaks. Try not to overdo it. Make to-do lists, and give yourself plenty of time to complete tasks." Don't know if that is helpful, given that you need to focus to do your work. Did you go cold turkey? Or are you doing a slow withdrawal?

Thank you!!! This is what I have been doing, but I am now majorly behind with work. I went cold turkey!!! After I switched to rolling tobacco for a week. it is helpful. in 5 days i reach the 2 week mark. so just need to be gentle yet persistant with my self....... Oh my gosh it is you L2015!!! Heehee you are the angel of this website to me!!!! I feel like this problem is not really within control i just need to wait and be patient and it will pass... many blessings to you

I quit almost 2 months ago. I have a app I downloaded called I quit smoking. Good luck its hard as he!! I made a pro/con list.
