Hello! I'm going to share a story about what I did to ease my mind when it came to feeling good, or getting ready to be in public and so First impressions saves lives, it is ok to be scared but once you make it clear the people around you will know and they wil think differently about you. I'll tell you what I did, going into high school knowing the kind of person I was I was going to get left out of everything, I would sit alone everywhere, I would have been depressed. So I said to myself, If I said something they all wanted to hear that is the way they would know me as therefore my chances of being targeted would be very slim, 1st day of school I me and a bunch of new classmates where going up the stairs and I had made a joke about being tried after it and they all laughed and smiled, boom, just like that, I made friends, I thank my mind for conjuring another side of me that I used to school, long story short, First Impressions will save your life, mentally. If your scared to go to a party but know you have to go, do not walk in there with your head down, not saying a word, standing in a corner, walk in that party with your head up, and smile, put on the fake smile if it means mentally having a good time. Say hi to everyone with a happy tone, remember that smile, and you will notice everyone's mood will seem happier, and the party will seem faster and who knows you might even have a great time. This is just something that I use in my life if I'm ever feeling uncertain or uncomfortable.
