Help

I am 16, and just realized I am bi. I have alot of gay friends, and I don't know how I realized it. I don't know how to tell any of my family because I'm scared of what they will say. My best friend of 5 years just told me tonight she was bi. I thought she was picking with me, but come to find out she is being serious. I'm scared to tell some of my friends, cause I don't know what they will say. If you have any advice please feel free to comment.

You don't have to tell anyone until you feel comfortable doing so. It's really nothing to be ashamed of, and anyone who makes you feel otherwise is not worth your time. No one important will care about your sexuality :)

Thanks. I told a few friends and they don't care, but I don't think I will ever be able to tell my family.

Fadingxink is very right. I haven't told my family either. I'm sure my mom would be fine with it but my dad would have a fit and be outraged or just be silent and never talk to me again. I guess you'll know when the time is right. Last minute shock probably isn't the best idea.

I don't want to know what my mom's response would be.

Sometimes certain people just don't need to know. It complicates things even though it shouldn't matter at all. Hopefully, our society will someday reach a point where sexuality doesn't mean anything at all.

I hope so Fadingxink, I don't understand how people can make big things out of little things. I say if your happy, then do whatever makes you happy. Some people are not like that though, and most of my family is not like that.

People just can't let things be without causing problems. You can't help you fall in love with, so they shouldn't be able to judge you for it. Just don't worry about them and surround yourself with people who are supportive and understanding(:

Thanks Fadingxink, you have really helped me out alot :).

I'm happy to be here for you:)

Thak you Fadingxink
