Hey guys, I’ve been in school for 3.5 years now and I still have 2 years to go and I can’t keep myself motivated anymore. My winter class was rough, I submitted most of my assignments late and I just struggled to get stuff done in general. Does anyone have any tips of how to stay motivated and stay on top of my assignments?
Thanks so much!
I am not sure that it is just you, this past year has been so rough, for everyone. I can't even imagine how hard it is to be going to school during a pandemic. Hang in there, hugs!
Hey, whenever I am feeling unmotivated I try to section off my homework time with things I enjoy doing like reading a book/watching a short show, or going outside. One schedule that has helped me is 1 hour of work, 10 min break, 45 min of work, 10 min break, 30 min of work, 15 min break, 30 min of work then a half hour or longer break. You can switch around the time frames if that works for you, but basically having a set time that you work until (not amount of work) has helped me to get motivated because I know I'm only working until that time. I also find going outside for a walk every day, even if I have nowhere to go, to be helpful to just raise my energy and motivation. I hope this helps! You've got this! <3
Thanks so much for the advice! I recently started working out to try and get my negative energy out and I found that just taking a walk when I start to getting really anxious and stress really helps me out a lot. I’m going to try that time thing next week and see how that works for me.
@krya I’m glad walks have been helpful for you!
