Hi after a bad bought of Bronchitis I quit smoking October 14, and coughed up black and grey gunk from my lungs. I have been on patches and nicorrette gum, and it sure helps, but I still have want to smoke at times. I even don't let my son smoke in my car. I'm here for support or even if I can support some one else. I quit for 12 years with the patch and went back 6 to 6 and a half years ago, not much smoking at the time, buy the time I finished up to 15 - 17 smokes a day. And once was a very active person, biking, horse back riding, swimming, ect. but not now, hope fully get back into activities.

oh that is great! good on you. I am still not smoking and my tongue is no longer white. Everything taste better, smells better too.
I am hoping for you too Nellie. Sounds like you know all the evils. Maybe just walking for the time being would be a good start.
