Hi, I’m new here. I guess really I’ve been having a really hard time with my miscarriage. I’m 30 I have no kids and I’ve lost two babies in the last three years. It was always my dream to be a mother. And when I lost that last one it just killed me. And now I’m feeling like I’m too old to bother trying again and I’m too afraid to try anymore even tho I’m healthy.
oh my you are still young. I've seen much older people giving birth, around me.
and someone I know she tried 4 times and at fourth time, she gave birth to a boy whom she has raised and loves very much. Another woman I know tried 9 times before she had a girl. then 2 years later, she had a boy. anyway, that woman was much older than you when she gave birth to her daughter.
what you've been going through must be difficult to you physically and mentally and emotionally.
but if it was your dream to be a mother, if that's indeed your dream, why would you give up.
my mom loves me a lot and my mom is kind of woman for whom being a mother is the biggest/greatest thing in her life(she said so often) but she was lucky too because a few years after i was born she had trouble in her body and had to have surgery which made her unable to give birth anymore.
sounds like you are still young, you are healthy. there is nothing to stop you but yourself.
@strawblue and maybe if you have trauma from your experience, seek therapy or any kind of activity to heal/help yourself. and talk with someone you trust and love about the experience. All the best.
