Hi I’m so glad to find this support group! Does anyone out there suffer from thyroid eye issues? I’m special because my eye issue started with one eye- which I had two surgeries on to close it up and look more normal- and then don’t you know the other eye started swelling up and drooping!!! Thank God for make up! Anyway just wanting to connect and see who’s out there dealing with this. Recently in the past year- for added fun I have developed double vision- usually when I’m tired or driving for a long time. If I cover one eye then I can make it home but it’s an issue. I have an appointment for that on June 6that the Bascom Palmer eye institute.... hoping to get answers!

I was told surgery was kind of painful and no guarantee it will be permanent. I have gone the sunglasses route but I am older and have other graves related issues.
