HI to those on this site. I have been alone for 10 years now post divorce and it gets to me often as dating has been difficult, some friends have died, I work nights and it hurts to do everything alone all the time.

@bluesky 11656 I empathized with you. I know about being lonely, I was by myself for years, before I met my husband. You've to tried and socialized more. Yes, dating after a divorced is so difficult. I know it hurts. to do things on your own. Working the night shift is exhausting. In the day, you needed your sleep. Yes, you don't have much time to socialized. Be strong, the best is yet, to followed..... SG friends are here, to support, and be supported. Be hopeful.
TY Irma for your reply! I am 58 so I suppose age is another setback for dating. What do women in my age group do??? Men seem on the websites (even at my age) to be chasing the younger cuties. I do not have much support or help from my family either at this point.

If yes be around them .ud feel less lonely ... Think about many other ppl .nowaday everyboy feel lonely even who couples ..i mean u could have someone but stil feel lonely .the point is so make peace with Urself n to be able to enjoy the me time
