I have had more than 1, and let's just say if loves were scoops of ice cream, I'd have one heck of a sundae! Each experience teaches us something. Something about ourselves and something about our choices in mates. Some are lucky that the first frog they kiss turns into the prince of their dreams. Most of us have to kiss quite a few frogs and deal with the trolls they turn in to before we find that prince of our dreams. Your prince is out there, pucker up! :-)

Oh, and to answer your question, the loml was actually my friend before we married. We met through a mutual acquaintance and were fast friends, then married shortly after. Been married 22.5 years. :-)

I agree with the above commenter. I was in love with my ex-wife. She was my first real love. Now I am divorced and feel like I am developing love like feelings for someone. It's scary but I am accepting each experience as a lesson.

My first real love was my sons father. But I had a previous relationship before him which was in the seperation we had . It was with this guy which come to think of it sometime I felt we we're friends hanging out but dating its weird when your in the early twenties he wasnt serious though I wanted a serious commitment since early twenties it never worked. But then again look how my sons father turned out and I still hurt.
