I developed tinnitus following a fall whilst at work. That was in April 2018. I was put onto workers compensation in October 2018. Told my GP about ringing in my ears but she didn’t really take me seriously and mentioned ear wax a few times. Used drops and had ears syringed. Ringing continued. Eventually changed GP and referred to ENT specialist who removed hardened wax and his audiologist discovered hearing loss in my right ear. Now the ringing is louder and lasts throughout the day. My GP told me it cannot be linked to the fall as my treatment didn’t start for a long time. I have continued to work. Right now it is so loud that I cannot concentrate. I’m feeling really anxious and depressed and have experienced dizziness and confusion today. CT scan shows nothing
i am very sorry. tinnitus really sucks. mine is constant. right now what is helping me is hearing aids. i barely notice it with my ears in.
