I don't really know what to Title this

So my mom talked to my uncle who is a psychiatrist about how i told her i thought i was becoming dependant on the klonopin and they both agree that im not that its helping me so i should just continue to use it.

Well when my life is ruined because of it i'll be sure to remind both of them of that.

Anyway..

My dad called the other night and said my grandparents really wanted to meet me. Which is kind of exciting! So some weekend in october were going over to their house for a cookout.

I told him the psychiatrist diagnosed me with PTSD and he asked what happened, i told him that i was raped and he got really upset. He told me he was molested by a family friend from the time he was 8-10. Im really glad were starting to have a relationship where we can talk about things like that. Mom says hes really manipulative. She doesn't have many good things to say about him anyway. I think he's great and so are all my siblings i've met.

Tonight my mom and I are going to the casino to play bingo, so wish me luck!!

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading:)

Hi Amanda! Wow! That's so so exciting regarding meeting your grandparents for the first time. And, I am really so happy to hear that you are bonding with your father, that's so amazing. I know that you'll have a very successful and fun-filled night at bingo. Please let me know how the weekend goes with your grandparents.

Amm1488 i am glad that you are opening up to your dad and that you are having a better relationship, and it is really nice that you get to meet your grandparents too. Have a good night, and let us know how things go.

I can't wait to meet them, unfortunatly it wont be till sometime in October but im very excited!!!

October's right around the corner, it'll be here in no time and you'll be with your family....all very exciting!

Hey Amanda, good for you on opening up to your dad. I am happy that you are not letting your mom's emotions skew your relationship with him. Obviously you know they have had a turbulant past, but don't let that stop you getting to know your dad or loving your mom. Best wishes sweetie!
