I feel a lot better emotionally as I went to my general doctor. I tried to make an appointment with an ENT, but they said I had to get diagnosed first. I thought it would be a bust, but he actually saw that I have fluid behind my left eardrum. He's a pretty good doctor. We talked about what my sound symptoms were. There are things you can do at home to alleviate fluid like the Valsalva Maneuver. He wrote me a script for a nasal spray; he said it could help, but I'm going to do these at home techniques for awhile. Then if it doesn't clear, he'll send me to an ENT to check my hearing. To me though, this fluid has to go since it's not right. I don't want to live with this for the rest of my life.
So glad you got some answers!
