I found out just two days ago that i have a stage two mass growing on my left kidney. Surgery has been scheduled and will take place in less than two weeks. I have done a lot of research about the procedure and the reasons behind it. I also feel very good about my physician. But I would like some advice on how to plan for the post-op recovery. In particular, I would like to know if anyone out there has some advice or knows of some "life hacks" that can make the recovery process easier. I am only 40, pretty healthy (other than this surprise) and was completely asymptomatic. Any advice is appreciated. I am a little anxious but I am focusing all my energy into planning and preparation.
I would just say that regardless of facts, the best you can do for a good recovery is have the best attitude you can muster and look forward to health.
