I got in an accident about a year ago, i sustained give or take 10 head blows during the accident, i refused an ambulance, my mom was in worse shape and there was only one ambulance at the scene and i wanted them to quickly get her to the hospital, as the closest (Good) hospital was 30 minutes away. I didnt sleep the night of, and went in the following morning, and got a half-a** workup, and no scans of any sort done and was sent on my way. At the time i didnt think i sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury, i was walking, talking, breathing etc. and i thought a TBI meant that you were like on in a coma. Anyways i did some research and i am exhibiting alot of symptoms, and one of those is Tinnitus.

Its a constant ringing, Sometimes its high-pitched, or sometimes its like in between high and low, but its always there. i feel like its gradually getting worse. is there anything short of going to the doctor i can do for the time being. i have an appt. in 16 days.

unfortunately, not really. The b*tch about tinnitus is there isn't a lot that actually helps. hopefully the apt will yield some good things for you. Mine is constant and has been with me my whole life. I am having some success with the hearing aids I now wear reducing it, or at least my notice of it, but I also have hearing loss unrelated to tinnitus. not sure if that is something to look into for you
