I had a mental breakdown because I need to lose weight by the time I start freshman year of high school. All of middle school has so far been hell for me. People make fun of me for being fat. Gym class is hell. Boys never like me. My "friends" always make me feel bad for being me. I don't want to always have to feel insecure of my looks and body.
Don't beat yourself up. I bet your a beautiful girl. Bullies are everywhere ya know. Be strong minded and don't pay attention or care what people say about you. Have you ever heard of Jennifer Nicole Lee? check her out. She will get you fit if your weight problem is bothering you. JNL Fusion, I lost 12lbs in 4 weeks and her exercise program is 8 weeks. You will love her workout, trust me. I love her workout and your body WILL CHANGE!! :) Keep your head up. :)
As a man who met my wife (who, we eventually discovered, suffered from overeating disorder) in high school, I would definitely tell you to hang in there. Middle school SUCKS. And it doesn't matter who it is. Those "friends" and others that put you down are often feeling the same way you are, except they lash out and use their feelings to hurt others. Don't worry about boys yet. As a former middle school boy, I know that they aren't mature enough to see real beauty in a person yet. As they grow up, they'll begin to mature and see you for who you really are. Regarding your weight loss, I would not worry too much about the actual weight right now. My wife who, like I mentioned, suffers from overeating disorder, was so concerned about her weight, she would only stress herself out, which would lead to more eating! Instead, think about making some minor changes to your daily routine that can have a huge impact. Take a long walk after school and, as you begin to feel stronger, add in some jogging. Do some knee push-ups and body weight squats when you wake up in the morning. Swap out french fries for carrot sticks. If possible, ask your parents if you can help cook a healthy meal one night a week. Making these little things a routine is going to have a much bigger impact than a workout that ends. No matter what you do, just remember that you are beautiful, you are a wonderful person and you are not alone. Good luck and God Bless!
@BouncyB13 Wow! What a great post. Hope Alice and other young girls read this.
