I hate how much energy my anxiety takes from me when it's acting up/: it's only noon & I could really use a nap with a large cup of tea. Erg.

I could drink coffee all day for this reason alone.

I know right! I used to drink A LOT of coffee to keep myself awake, I've been trying to cut back on it & drink more tea because coffee isn't the best for you.

tea (that isn't decaf) worsens anxiety- I know that from experience. If you drink tea make sure you are doing some physical activity after to work out that caffeine otherwise it will worsen anxiety

Yes, thankfully I drink decaffeinated English breakfast tea(: I've learned that tea with caffeine only tends to make matters worse.

@SMouse good to hear SMouse, it pains me to see anyone suffering from anxiety, as I know how it feels

@Better1109 Jeesh/: that does sound unhealthy.

Yes, anxiety is a struggle to deal with. C

A cup of coffee & writing is always nice ^_^

I don't know either, I know that I can't write without a fan blowing on me for some reason. I'm clueless as to why but without a fan I can't seem to put words together right.

@SMouse - yes, anxiety uses up a lot of energy. I usually wake an hour before the alarm goes off and then by 10:00 I am so tired. I try not taking a nap when I get home from work but that doesn’t seem to help. I even take no-doze when at work but it doesn’t seem to have any effect.

I try not to take naps too but I some times can't help it. I have anxiety nightmares that only allow me to get an hour or two of sleep a night so when my anxiety is acting up more than normal, it's hard not to need a nap.

Is it just me that when i drink alot of caffeine, my body starts to shake really badly

Many other people get that way when they drink caffeine

It is really scary :P

@drewfc I used to look at it like just a part of my addiction I dealt with but as we get older these substances effects on our over all health start to really show themselves and the once subtle effects we passed off so easily become real issues that hold us back in life. Just my 2 cents

You are really smart flowerbug, there is really nothing I can add to that, that has to be one of the most realist things I've ever heard, gave me chills because of how true that is

I'm so sorry you're having anxiety message me if you need or want to talk
