I hate that agoraphobia has kept me from doing so many things. I'm tired and just plain worn out.
I'm a male who was in construction and would have believed that I could have had such problems with panic attacks and almost never being able to leave home. Little by little, talk another step out, each time a little further. You will see how well you did those times and will be encouraged by it. Slow but steady because you CAN do it. Also, when in the middle of a panic situation, flex your muscles, arms, legs, etc., over and over. It uses up adrenaline which help with that panicky feeling. I'm in your corner as are all of us who have been there with you! GJ
This is "beenthere2" replying to my own message above....meant to say, "would NOT have believed that I could have had such problems with panic attacks..." Also meant to say, "TAKE another step outside, each time a little further..." forgive me; never been in any support group in my life!
