I have a HSV2. Is oral sex possible if both have hsv2? Can hsv2 spread to your mouth or eye if accidentally touching it? Should I not eat after or kiss my son anymore?

Hsv2 can be oral or genital but oral is rare....if you have genital hsv2 its more difficult to transmit to the mouth since you have the antibodies.

I keep hearing it rare but I got it and I passed it as well by accident.

@Neverendingpain I have it and dont know if I ever passed it kissing. I did make out with a girl who had hsv2 and few days later I had worse OB on my face that I cleared in 2 days.

Hsv2 oral infections normally happen at the initial infection. After that in tial ob your body builds up immunity that's why it's considered rare

@toastered89 I caught my hsv2 from a female who preformed oral sex on me with an open sore. I only have BO on my upper region.

Its better to use protection to avoid spreading it to your mouth from what i have been told
