I have a question. For those of you who have HIV pos and are sexually active , do you think about hiv and the fact that you could spread it especially using protection while your havering sex? Do you still and or receive oral sex?
On the first question if you mean while in the actual act itself - no , not at all. If you mean before - yes , of course and I think if you do not have those thoughts you are likely a sociopath. The thing is - it is REALLY hard for a man to give HIV to a woman (and likewise a F to M) the reason is that there is not really any tearing in the vagina while having sex because the vagina is lubricated naturally , anal sex is different and completely dangerous even with protection.DON'T GET ME WRONG it OBVIOUSLY happens allot evidently , but I am just saying it is more difficult. It should be able to give you a better idea. I am not sure if this is even what you are asking. As far as oral goes , I cannot say I have not had oral sex since I became infected. I have had three love affairs with women who all knew about my status and we had sex and it was freekn great. I used protection every time and did everything but anal and oral. This is something you need to look within yourself and decide if you are ready for - if you are talking sex with an hiv negative person then there is the problem of worry and fear and guilt that happens for a while afterward.In fact , these are the reasons I broke up with all but one of these women , I just could not stand the idea that I could give them this nightmare but this is something that is different for different people. The thing for me is...when I find..when God brings that ONE special woman into my life who I know without any doubt loves me and I her completely and we marry - THEN and only then will those thoughts vanish.That is just me though I cannot know your mind and hart - you have to decide for yourself.

I have had sexual intercourse with one person that was neg and I was totally scared. it was really difficult to even "perform" :( we were extremely careful but it was in both of our minds and could not shake it off !!! but when I am with others that are POZ obviously much relaxed !

I miss having sex whenever I want. I don't think about spreading it cause it would bother me to much. I miss my sex life lol

@Poisonivy76 for me . I got sick like the flu. I lost 10-15lb . I had covering my entire arms and legs. My lymph nodes are swollen on the back of my head and neck. They’re going down now that I’m on Complera but I have like 9 swollen on the back of my head one on the back of my shoulder. Some on my groin. I have dry mouth and always in need of water . But the flu part was horrible for me . And I had a really nasty cough for a month
No signs for me yet and I don't think there are any signs ever ! I have met a few guys that have been poz for a while and they look very healthy and good ! There is never a sign ! Now that I am a poz I think it's a good thing !

@DesertPete I had thrust too and mines took 6 months I just found out a month ago .
All I got was a flu that took longer then usual to go away. Still not 100% sure that's when I got it but that's my closest guess when I got the flu I ran to get tested and the result came back neg 6 months later it tested positive.

I guess what I was also asking is what happened that made you get tested? And now that you have these symptoms, I guess I wondered if you now look back and "see" things that you didn't see before. ****. I hate that you guys were deceived. I'm sorry. Did those people know they were infected! What was the response when you told them.
Wow! What a ****. I'm sorry that you were not respected and lied to. What symptoms did you have after seven weeks. How have you been since.
It's a good insight. I just feel in awe hearing the stories. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had to be test several times as formality. I was negative both times. First three months and again at nine months. I remembered feeling worried because I knew what I was doing but you never know what someone else is doing. I always thought it was an anal sex thing. I'm not trying to say gay. Hetero ppl have anal sex so.....
