I have been prescribed Clonazepam for severe RLS, started off on 0.5mg before bed for a month. It worked a treat at first, but then l started waking in the night with some discomfort again. GP upped dose to 1mg. What l have noticed is that l appear to have put on 5 pounds in weight, over a period of approx 6 weeks. I was wondering if anyone else has put on weight, especially this quickly when prescribed this drug.
Side effects that I saw didn't include weight gain, but I would talk to your doctor and discuss this apparent side effect.
