I have fibromyalgia and get angry at every little thing. How can I manage my anger?

Hi, @SharonR. I was there when I first got sick. It lasted a long time until I was advised, by my physician, to keep a food/sleep/stress/weather/emotion/relationship/exercise log. I noticed my triggers were so subtle that it seemed like I was getting angry at every little thing for no reason, but I couldn't control my anger either. It was like I could feel it coming (much like PMS), but there was nothing I could do to stop it. Keeping that log helped me eliminate my triggers (e.g. coffee, sugar, high-intensity exercise, smoking, alcohol, etc.) one by one until things normalized. Now, without medication, I am able to live an emotionally balanced life, which is a huge relief. I hope this helps.
