I have never been faithful to anyone that I have ever dated. The most serious relationship that I had lasted about 3 years on and off, and the whole time I was also on and off with my best friend. He's been my best friend for a long time, and it is really hard to let go. Currently I am dating another boy very seriously and he is the first person that I could see myself really being faithful too and I tried very hard at first. Unfortunately, my bad judgement took over, and I starte hooking up with my best friend once again. Then things got very complicated when my best friend fell for me, and now they are both asking me for very serious things, and they both love me very much. It's shocking to admit but I have gotten myself in a very deep mess--i am currently dating both my boyfriend of 7months, and my best friend (for about two weeks). I don't know what to do at this point. I don't want to lose my best friend or lose my first serious boyfriend
Welcome to the site mel96. Unfortunately you can not have both. If they find out you will have neither. I married my best friend 14 years ago. We have been together for 18 almost 19 years. I was afraid to date him because I didn't want to lose his friendship if things didn't work out. You are in a difficult position and one I have been in myself. You have to figure out what you want but it's not fair to either one of them to date them both. Good luck with your situation.
