I have struggled with disordered eating for 14 years. I have been purge free since the summer of 2019. Today I have incredible urges to relapse into old tendencies. They urges are stronger than usual. Could anyone pass some tips along to keep me on track toward recovery? Please?

Is there anything that’s worked previously? Meditation and breathing to calm? Self talk helps me in many ways by praising yourself for how great you have been doing! It is awesome progress. It’s a journey and tell yourself to just get thru an hour, a day, etc... if you can get thru the hour-boom- the urge will disappear... you can reward yourself with something also
Of course—if you have a therapist/that’s the first place. If you don’t/maybe you could look into starting some therapy??? Do you have hobbies to keep yourself busy and distracted if you focus on purging?
